If you are serious about starting and growing your food blog this service is an absolute must! Bjork and Lindsay from Pinch of Yum share their knowledge from building your website, to photography, SEO and creating an income.
I currently use the economy hosting plan with GoDaddy to host my site, which costs $59/year, for the last 2 years. I’ve been very happy with their customer service, support and speed of the site.
blogvault is the service I use to automatically backup my wordpress site. You couldn’t believe how many times people will try to hack and destroy your site or you run into some coding issue where you wish you could do an easy restore. Are there free options out there? Absolutely however I am pretty tech savy and paying the $9/month for blogvault allows me to set it and forget it and know that it actually works. I can spend more time on creating amazing recipes!
This website currently run on the Genesis framework with the Foodie theme installed from Studiopress. When I first started this blog I used a theme from Themeforest. They have a lot of options but for ease of use and the best design in my opinion Genesis themes can’t be beat. I will be using Genesis for all my future blogs like My Cocktail Collection.
I use a Nikon D5100 to take all the pictures on the site. It’s a great camera and is very affordable. I would buy just the body and get the lens I have listed below.

This is my go to lens. Sure there are better lenses but not at this price!
