I’m planning an upcoming catering event which is a Kentucky Derby themed party so I’ve been browsing the interwebs and Pinterest boards looking for Kentucky Derby inspired recipes and cocktails. What cocktail is synonymous with Kentucky, horses and big hats?
Mint Juleps of course!
I consider myself pretty darn southern and this was my first taste of a Mint Julep. Shame on me cause they’re awesome!
This is definitely a drink to sip while sitting in a rocking chair on your front porch watching life go by. Sounds relaxing doesn’t it?
